These terms govern every project we handle, from a simple roof repair to a full roof replacement. Service Description
Denver Roofing Team is a Denver roofing contractor offering residential and commercial roofing services. Our crews perform tear-off and overlay installations, using self-adhered underlayment and ring-shank nails for secure attachment. We install starter course, field course, and staggered courses to ensure proper water shedding. We also handle storm damage repair, including hail-damaged roofs with granule loss or end-of-life wear. Our work covers roof repair, roof replacement, gutter installation, and emergency roofing after severe weather.
We do not fabricate license numbers or certifications. We are a licensed and insured Colorado roofing company, and we will provide proof of insurance upon request. Our estimators walk every roof to assess rot, decay, sag, or settle issues before recommending a solution.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free, detailed estimates for all roofing projects. An estimate includes material costs, labor, and a timeline. Pricing depends on roof size, pitch, and the condition of the roof deck. We may need to replace rotted decking or repair sagging sections before installing new shingles. We will not start work without your written approval of the estimate.
If you file an insurance claim for hail or storm damage, we can assist with the claims process. We document all damage with photos and provide an itemized scope of work. However, we cannot guarantee that your insurance company will approve the claim. You are responsible for any deductible or non-covered costs.
Warranty
We stand behind our workmanship with a 5-year labor warranty. This covers defects in installation, such as improperly sealed flashing or loose shingles. Manufacturer warranties on materials vary by product, and we will provide the specific warranty documents at the time of installation. The warranty does not cover damage from improper maintenance, severe weather beyond normal wear, or modifications made by other contractors.
To keep your warranty valid, you must address any issues we identify during routine inspections. For example, if we notice granule loss or exposed fasteners, we may recommend repairs. Ignoring these signs can lead to water seepage, wicking, and eventual rot.
Payment Terms
We require a 20% deposit to schedule your project. The balance is due upon completion and your final walkthrough. We accept cash, check, or credit card. For larger commercial roofing jobs, we may offer progress billing with terms outlined in your contract. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a scheduled project up to 72 hours before the start date with no penalty. If you cancel within 72 hours, we retain the deposit to cover materials ordered and crew scheduling. Once work begins, you may not cancel mid-project without paying for completed work and materials. We will never pressure you into a decision; we provide honest answers and clear timelines.
Liability Limitations
Denver Roofing Team will take reasonable care to protect your property during roofing work. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. However, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions such as hidden rot, decay, or structural issues discovered during the tear-off. If we uncover unexpected damage, we will stop and discuss options with you before proceeding. Our liability is limited to the contract price for the work performed.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved in the courts of Denver County. By hiring us, you agree to this jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
